Dr. Flossie Annel Budu-Frimpong is an Entrepreneur, Management Consulting Professional, a Conference Speaker, Philanthropist, Preacher and a Clinical Counselling Psychotherapist/Psychologist. She holds a BSc, and an MSc from South Wales University and Kensington Business School. She also pursued a Postgraduate course in Master of Arts in Counselling, Psychotherapy and Spirituality at the famous St. Paul’s University in Canada, Ottawa. She is presently undertaking her third master’s degree in Counselling in Children, Young People, Adults and their Families at the Northampton University leading to a PhD in Psychological Therapies. She is a member of BACP a regulatory body for counselling professionals and Psychotherapists in the United Kingdom.
She is the Founder and President of Guardian Angel Foundation (GAF), a community -based charity which coordinates and organizes seminars, and training for the development of women and young people. She is also the founder of Devine Women Prayer Network and the Mind -Based Therapy Clinic, a Virtual Psychological Therapeutic Clinic, giving counselling and therapies to families, individuals and young people going through mental health and psychological issues worldwide, due to the COVID -19 Pandemic.
She worked over a decade with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), a United Nations Humanitarian Migration Organization and other NGO’s and international organizations such as German Technical Cooperation (GTZ). She managed, and coordinated, the various programs and departments in Migration and health, such as TB screening/HIV/AIDS for migrants wishing to settle in the UK, Australia and Canada.
